Are you interested in the opportunity to work with pets in a hospital setting?
If so, we encourage you to learn more about our great volunteer program at South Kendall Animal Hospital!
At South Kendall Animal Hospital, we strongly support up-and-coming veterinary professionals and continuing education in the veterinary field. Pet care is our passion, and we want to help students reach their full potential as compassionate, skilled veterinary professionals. After all, the future of veterinary medicine is in the hands of students!
We have several unique opportunities for students to participate in that will get them one step closer to a career in animal medicine.
Here’s how we can help you on your journey:
- Gain first-hand experience in a hospital setting
- Shadow trained staff for an engaging visual experience
- Observe client-patient interactions and relationships
- Improve necessary skills to obtain CVA/CVT licenses
If you would like to volunteer with our experienced medical team, we request that you complete a volunteer application. All volunteers also need to submit a liability waiver and emergency contact sheet. Volunteers should be over the age of 17. If you are under the age of 18, a parent or guardian will have to complete the form and sign on your behalf. Call us at 305-238-2030 if you have any questions at all.
We’re thrilled that you are interested in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine and would be happy to act as a stepping stone in you reaching your goals.
