Dr. Zika is a Nashville, Tennessee native and excited to be living in South Florida where it’s sunny and warm, and with access to the beach!  She graduated from the University of Tennessee college of Veterinary Medicine in May 2007 and recently completed a master of Public Health. Her areas of veterinary interest are preventive medicine and veterinary epidemiology.

Dr. Zika enjoys traveling and being outside in her free time, either relaxing on the beach or taking her dog to the park. She has a chocolate lab named Chessie who loves to chase ducks and chickens!
